The FN® M249S® PARA Semi-Auto Rifle is the semi-automatic version of the legendary M249 SAW light machine gun developed by FN Herstal as the FN MINIMI® and adopted by the U.S. Military in 1988. The Rifle features the signature 18.5" FN cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and operates from a closed-bolt position. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the rifle will accept both magazines and linked ammunition belts. Formed steel frame with magazine well for alternate feeding. Integrated MIL-STD 1913 mounting rail for optics. Rotating, telescoping buttstock with hydraulic recoil buffer and non-slip buttplate. Crossbolt safety. Non-reciprocating charging handle. Heat shield and carry handle included.
