The experts at Winchester took this solid-operating mechanism and improved on its balance, controls, and operating components for smooth cycling, reduced recoil, and fast-firing performance. The chamber features Back-Bored Technology, which provides dense and even shot patterns. The chamber and barrel bore are both hard chrome-plated to resist wear, tear, and corrosion. The synthetic stock boasts an extra-balanced, ergonomic feel, and its rounded pistol grip and textured gripping surfaces give you a firm, controlled grip. An Inflex® technology recoil pad helps reduce felt recoil for more comfortable shooting and faster follow-up shots. A full-coverage Mossy Oak® Country DNA camo overlay eliminates the guns outline for a blend-in effect you can count on. The vent rib allows for a clean sight plane and the TRUGLO® Long Bead fiber-optic front sight makes target acquisitions easier. The SX4's other great features include a drop-out trigger group, crossbolt safety, large bolt handle, bolt-release button, and length-of-pull spacers.
